Next round of drive-in cinema with ‘Butterfly Stroke’

Iranian feature ‘Butterfly Stroke’ is slated to appear in drive-in cinema.

Directed by Mohammad Kart, the film AKA ‘Drown’ will have drive-in cinema screening in Mashhad and Milad Tower of Tehran.

The screening will kick off on Thursday, July 2, 2020.

Currently only the cities of Tehran and Mashhad host drive-in cinemas, considered as the first of the kind after the Islamic Revolution.

‘Butterfly Stroke’ narrates the story of some people from the poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Tehran.

People have to pretend to be strong if they want to survive the brutality of their environment.

Some top-rating Iranian actors such as Mohammad-Javad Ezzati, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Mahlaqa Baqeri, Pantea Bahram, Ali Shademan, and Amir Aqaee have starred in the flick.
